PyWeek - Out progressit's already wednesday and all we have so far is a rough idea of how the game should look like, some classes to support levels, and plans what to do next, that were suppost to be done today.. (though uri has a POC for citygen.. today he was the one to do something..) We really have to start some 3D drawing soon, or it will never end.. — eltriuqS on 2006/09/05 22:44 of Kiwi Comments: (log in to comment) |

Project status:Now that the idea is a bit more concrete, we can move forward more safely.
So far, i created all the base classed of levels and stuff, to ensure that the game will have a start and an ending..
I just got the first model prototype so tomorrow i'll start working on loading a 3D model and drawing it.
Our modeler has started to create the structures in the game,
and the other programmer has started to write the city generator code.
Future missions:
All structures and people models and textures (modeler)
3D object loading and drawing code (me)
Fast out-of-screen object culling [We intend to have MANY objects in the game world] (me)
Complete city generation code (other programmer)
Other game logic, AI - Undecided
Overlay (Game screens, good readme) - Undecided
So far we couldn't really work on the stuff too much, so if we stop working on it at any time during the weekend, this won't be done at time..
Happy pyweek yall
