PyWeek - Frog Princess VS The Cyborg Fireflies - feedback

3 4 2 .
3 4 4 Good idea, very polished sound and graphics, though game gets a bit boring after a few rounds. Nicely implemented little game.
3 3 3 Unusual idea, but good realize.
3 4 4 The game is funny
3 4 4 It is an interesting idea and it's quite developed on regards to graphics. Maybe too basic with only one screen. A story would have been even better.
3 4 4 Nice graphics and sound, and the game concept (follow flies by sound) was interesting. It is a little too monotonous to keep being fun after a while
4 4 4 lol. Fun, nice graphics and good music. Not very much variation but still a good one.
2 3 3 OK, but kinda hard to find the firefly, and it's easy to just randomly keep clicking and do ok.
1 2 3 liked the idea of hearing different sounds depending on where the fly was coming from.
3 4 4 Nicely put together, everything worked well. Interesting idea, needs something a bit more to keep the player coming back.
4 4 4 This game was a pretty slick package. The interface took a while to work out, but once I did it was really fun to swing the frog around and all that. Nice stuff.

2 3 3 Interesting idea, but too repetitive. Nice music.
3 3 3 okay.
2 3 3 Interesting idea.
3 4 4 Nicely produced. Very difficult to play without sound, unfortunately.
4 3 3 I really like the art style! The firefly thing was sort of ackward due to the controls. I was hopping like mad, eating at everything near where I thought the fireflies were I managed to get #1 on the high score but it was still ackward feeling. I would have really liked to see multiple enemies, A LOT more art (cause the original stuff is so cool!) and a better fix on the controls. I'm excited to see how the final turns out :)
3 4 4 very original game.
2 3 4 A simple little game. It just doesn't seem that fun to me.
2 4 3 Very good graphics, though it's just the one screen, no intro no storyline no levels. This could work it's way to be a great game, but it's a bit bare still.
4 4 4 fun concept, sharp graphics, nifty physics
3 4 3 Nice game. The gameplay needs to be tweaked a bit, but the whole thing feels very good.
3 4 4 Difficulty could be toned down a bit, or maybe the game's ballance wasn't tweaked just right. Something just didn't feel right. I like the concept and it looks really good, though. (well, the tipping backwards looks frightening, but it works...) Oh, and I love the "cyborg fireflies" idea.
3 3 4 I *LOVE* the use of sound in this game! I found that I didn't really use the 'swing from the roof with the tongue' ability very much, maybe there is something to do that can add more gameplayability to that ability.
2 5 3 The game certainly looks great, the graphics are great, and it gets all of my production points. However, it wasn't as fun to play for me :( - but if the fireflies remained visibel all time I believe it would be a great game
3 4 3 Very nicely put together. Could definantly do with more levels.
3 4 3 I didn't understand what's the tounge-hanging for (besides it's cool); the eating sound is grotesque (coo!), but the game lacks more game-modes (this one gets boring quite fast)
4 4 4 I don't have the right sound equipment to use this game properly, but it's still interesting.
2 4 3 Graphics and music are very good, and the falling leaves are a nice touch. More variety needed to make it an engaging game, though.

There doesn't seem to be much strategy involved in catching the flies -- the best I seemed to be able to do is just lash out repeatedly with the tongue, maybe jumping up and down a bit, and hope for the best. There doesn't seem to be much use for the tongue-swinging manouevre, either.

2 5 3 Gorgeous game, and great music, but it's just not that much fun. Hop around and click 'eat' a lot, aiming at the row where the fireflies come through. It's entertaining for a few minutes, but it's not something I'd come back to. Changed into some sort of full-fledged platformer, though ...
2 4 3 Nice graphics and music. I think that catching the flies relaying only for the sound they make is a bit difficult and just random shooting in the dark.
3 3 5 Crazy! Nice title for the game.
4 4 4 i had to read the comments to ind out aboit follong the noise
4 4 5 Idea is fun and executed well, even though the game feels a bit limited (why does it exit when you're done?). It's a lot of fun when you manage to swing yourself in the direction of a fly and then grab it in mid-flight, even though you can't see it :) My best so far is 25 flies. I noticed the tongue can be used as a kind of crude "radar" while you are attached to the ceiling - if flies go past it they show up as a black shadow.
4 3 3 - Is it correct that the flies are invisible?
2 3 3 I couldn't see the fireflies to eat them... they appeared briefly and then went black...
