[ dummey @ 23:17 ] Done!

Going to call it and be officially done! Had a great time working with all of you guys!

[ Burns @ 09:26 ] Sounds are fun

Forget about building robots, I should go into video game voice overs (yes I did the sound of the dying penguin).

[ rainincelery @ 08:11 ] <3 penguins..

I can't believe that I did all the sprites with MS Paint. Even though I have Photoshop. Why? .... Just for kicks.

[ dummey @ 04:28 ] Progress!

Things are moving along at a much faster pace then I had anticipated. This is especially good since I only having up until 6pm on Friday to work on this. I will be up at UCLA this weekend doing some colligate cycling!

So far, a lot of the game logic has been worked out. In theory, the backbone for everything we want to do is in place, now it is just making it all happen without everything breaking. Meeting with up the group tonight to get the actual sprites in the game so that it can look less crappy.

[ dummey @ 19:47 ] A Slow Start

We have just completed our team and have sketched out some ideas for the game. Our team now has 2 programmers, an artist, and a sound tech. Pretty awesome I have to say since I was about to do everything solo on Sunday!

The game idea so far is a penguin boxing game. The wibble wobble comes from how the penguins move. Gameplay is similar to Bomber Man with a top down view. The difference is that there will be no health bar and the means to defeat your opponent is to know them into holes in the ground. The holes in the ground will appear based on a time delay with the areas that have seen the most action disappearing first.
